Jotan onstage with the KickPort! Aventura Concert - San Jose, CA

Jotan Afanador is a great friend of ours and an incredible talent. We first met at the 2009 NAMM Show. He is from New York and had played with Aventura on some shows in 2008 and with many other great talents over the years. He lives in New York, has a nice studio in his house, a very talented wife, and major talented two year old who may be giving Jotan some competition sooner than later. In the last months he has been working in the studio with Aventura, the amazing Bachata music group formed in The Bronx, New York in 1994. (http://www.aventuraworldwide.com/). Well let me tell you, these guys are incredible and Jotan is adding a wonderful element which can be heard on the new record The Last. They are going out on a mega mega tour. Jotan told me today that they had three Madison Square Garden Shows scheduled in January, and it sold out so fast, they added two more. This may be the biggest tour of this section of 2009 and the entire year of 2010! They even played for the president at the White House two weeks ago! this will be a worldwide sell out and i suggest everybody go and see these guys because the talent level is off the charts.

Congratulations to our brother! This is a perfect union and this tour will be an epic. Jotan is major excited and so thankful to be there as he is a kind and appreciative man. I will keep you updated on all great things he is going to be doing…
