2009 NAMM Show:
Future Percussion Concepts exhibited the KickPort for the first time to the public at the January 2009 NAMM show in Anaheim. Our booth was way off the beaten track in the corner next to the “Exit” sign. We wondered if anybody would even notice us. We at least hoped we’d get some wandering “passers by.” Anyway, that’s how we felt on Thursday morning. By Sunday, however, things were a lot different. We had enjoyed countless visits from rock star drum luminaries, high level drum and drumhead companies’ executives, drum magazines, and talented drummers who all told us how much they loved the KickPort and considered it a wonderful innovation. We were even told that we were “one of the big buzzes” of the percussion side of the show.
The “after NAMM” period has been unbelievable and we thank you. Feel free to contact us and we will continue to post updates via our website and email as we close in on the date to launch the product in stores which should be sometime in April. In the meantime KickPorts are available directly from us via our website – www.fpcdrums.com.
We truly appreciate meeting all of you who came by our booth. We are honored and privileged to have you as part of the KickPort Family.

Will you be making it in white? Is that an option? I think different colors would be cool.

thanks Matty for your message. We do not have the KickPort in white presently but we certainly plan on other colors in the future. We agree other colors would be cool!
